What blogger outreach services do
Blogger outreach services find bloggers who already write about your field and ask them to feature you, through a new article, a quote or a link added where it helps readers. Each link comes from a person who chose to include it, on a site with an audience of its own.
We read each blog and its comments first, then pitch something that fills a gap. A pet insurer might offer a dog training blog a vet-reviewed table of breed care costs.
For link insertion, we suggest one of your pages as a source for an older post on your topic, and the writer decides.
Google's link spam policy bans "buying or selling links for ranking purposes," including "exchanging goods or services for links." If a blogger asks for a fee, Google's outbound link guide asks publishers to label "advertisements or paid placements" with rel="sponsored". You decide whether to pay, and we report the tag.
How we vet every site: the Five-Gate Check
Every blog we pitch passes five checks first, and you see the results before any email goes out. A site that fails one gate comes off the list, however high its authority score looks in tools like Ahrefs or Moz.
- Real readers. Organic traffic holds steady over the past year, from the countries you sell in.
- Topic match. Recent posts sit in your field or right beside it. A recipe blog linking to a tax firm helps nobody.
- A human editor. A named author, a real about page and posts written for people.
- Clean outbound links. We scan recent posts for links to casinos, pills and payday loans.
- Signs of life. Fresh posts, real comments and an active newsletter show people still read.
Sites that pass go into a shared sheet with a note on each gate, so you can veto any of them before we pitch.

Show my link gapsAnchor text done safely
Safe anchor text reads like part of a normal sentence and mostly uses your brand, your URL or plain descriptive words. Google's link guidance asks for anchors that are "descriptive, reasonably concise, and relevant," and warns that keyword stuffing breaks its spam policies.
| Anchor type | Example | How we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Branded | Acme Payroll | The default |
| Naked URL | acmepayroll.com | Resource lists and citations |
| Descriptive | this overtime calculator | Links to one tool or page |
| Partial match | Acme's overtime guide | Now and then |
| Exact match | overtime calculator | Rare, writer's choice only |
Google's spam policy treats keyword-optimized anchors placed in guest articles or press releases on other sites as link spam. So we don't request keyword anchors from bloggers. Writers pick their own wording. Each month we review your anchor mix in Ahrefs, and if keyword anchors start to cluster on one page, we pause outreach to it until branded links even out the profile.
Sample outreach report
Each monthly report follows the campaign from first list to live link: blogs found, blogs that passed vetting, pitches sent, replies and placements, with a short note on what drove each number. Every live URL is listed, so you can open each placement and judge its quality yourself.
| Stage | This month | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Blogs researched | 140 | HR and payroll blogs |
| Passed Five-Gate Check | 46 | Most cuts: thin traffic |
| Pitches sent | 46 | One angle per blog |
| Replies | 9 | Four after a follow-up |
| Live placements | 4 | One marked rel="sponsored" |
Sample data for illustration.
Below the funnel sits the link log: linking page, anchor text, rel attribute, live date and whether it still resolves on our monthly recheck. Vanished links get flagged. We also pull referral visits per placement from GA4, since clicks show a blog's readers care about your topic. The last section lists next month's prospects and the angle we plan to pitch each one, so you can flag any to skip.
Blogger outreach pricing
Blogger outreach runs on a monthly retainer covering research, vetting, writing and pitching. Live links depend on how many bloggers say yes, so we price the work and report each result. If a blogger asks for a fee, you decide, and any paid link gets a sponsored tag.

Questions, answered.
Ask us directlyWhat are blogger outreach services?
Blogger outreach services find bloggers who write about your field and pitch them content, data or sources worth featuring. You get a mention or link on a blog with real, returning readers. A good provider vets each site and reports every live link.
How much does blogger outreach cost?
Expect one of three models: a monthly retainer, a price per placement or a mix. Per-link sellers often price by authority score tiers, which rewards a tool metric over real readers. A clear provider tells you upfront how it handles bloggers who request a fee.
Is blogger outreach the same as guest posting?
Guest posting is one kind of blogger outreach. Outreach covers any pitch to a blogger, such as a quote, a data set or a useful page to cite. Guest posting means you write a full article and the blog publishes it under your name.
Is blogger outreach safe for SEO?
Yes, when links are earned. Google's link spam policy bans buying links for ranking and optimized anchors in guest posts. Safe outreach means vetted blogs, mostly branded anchors and rel="sponsored" on anything a blogger charges for. Avoid any flat-fee bulk link offer.
What is link insertion?
Link insertion means asking a blogger to add a link to your page inside a post they've already published. It works when your page adds something the post lacks, like fresher data or a free tool. A paid insertion counts as an ad, so it needs rel="sponsored".
How long until outreach links help rankings?
Bloggers reply on their own schedule, and Google must recrawl each linking page before a new link counts. We aim for first placements in month two and judge ranking movement over a quarter or longer. Referral visits can start the day a link goes live.
