Getting started
Ask us directlyWhat happens on the growth call?
We look at your site together, talk through where you sell and what a good year looks like, and point out the quick wins we can already see. You leave with a short written plan and a monthly price. The call is free, and there's no obligation to go ahead.
What do you need from us to begin?
Viewer or editor access to Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and your website's admin area, plus your CRM or store dashboard if you'd like revenue in your reports. A 30-minute kickoff call with whoever knows your customers best gives us the context that no tool can.
How soon can work start?
Work can begin within a week of a signed scope and the access above. The first week goes into the audit and tracking checks, so your first technical fixes can be ready by the second or third week, with new content following soon after.
Can you help a brand-new website?
Absolutely. A new site is a clean slate, which makes it easier to get the structure, internal links and tracking right from the first page. Expect the first months to focus on foundations and early content, with search traffic building steadily as Google learns to trust the domain.
Pricing and payments
How do you set your prices?
Each price comes from three things: the services in your plan, the size of your site and how hard your market is to rank in. We keep our fees around 76% under the typical agency retainer. You get the figure in writing before work starts, and it stays fixed until you agree to change the scope.
Are there setup or hidden fees?
Your quote lists every cost up front. Some plans include a one-time audit or setup fee, and that line appears in the quote you approve. Third-party costs, like paid tools or sponsored placements, are only added with your written OK.
How do we pay, and in which currency?
We invoice monthly in advance for ongoing plans, and in agreed milestones for one-time projects. Invoices are due within the period shown on each one, and you'll receive a reminder before any due date. Questions about a bill can go to info@uppearnow.com at any time.
Can we change our plan later?
You can add a service, pause one or scale the whole plan at any monthly review. We send the updated scope and price first, and the change starts once you approve it. Unused hours or deliverables don't roll over between months unless your scope says so.
SEO and AI search
What's the difference between SEO and GEO?
SEO helps your pages rank in Google's results. GEO, or generative engine optimization, helps AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews name and cite your brand in their answers. The two share most of the groundwork, so we plan them together and report on both every month.
Can you promise first-page rankings?
Nobody can promise a ranking or an AI citation, because Google and AI companies control their own results. What we commit to is the work: a clear plan, steady delivery against it and honest reporting on what moved. Our case results show what that work has achieved for brands in your markets.
How do you choose which keywords to target?
We start with the searches that lead to revenue, the ones where the person is close to buying, then add questions your customers ask on the way there. Each keyword is matched to one page on your site. We weigh search volume, difficulty and how often your rivals already show up.
Will you make changes to our website?
With your approval, yes. We can work directly in WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and most other systems, or hand your developer a ticket for each fix. Nothing goes live without sign-off, and we test important changes on a staging copy first whenever your setup has one.
Can you help after a drop from a Google update?
We can. We compare your traffic against the dates of Google's announced updates, find the pages and queries that slipped, and check them against Google's guidance on helpful content. The recovery plan usually mixes page rewrites, merges of thin pages and stronger proof of expertise.
Content, links and social
Who writes our content, and do you use AI?
Specialist writers draft every piece using interviews or notes from your team, and an editor checks facts and sources before it reaches you. AI helps with research, outlines and first-pass edits. A person always shapes the argument, writes the final copy and stands behind every claim.
Do we approve content before it's published?
Every article, page and post comes to you for review first. Sign-off happens in a shared document with comments, and we publish once you approve. If you're happy for us to publish routine updates without a review, that permission is written into your scope.
How do you build links without risking a penalty?
We earn links through outreach, guest articles and digital PR on sites real readers visit. Each site is checked for genuine traffic, relevance and editorial standards. Any placement that involves payment is tagged as sponsored, following Google's link guidelines, so your site's reputation stays protected.
Do you post on our social accounts directly?
We can. With admin or partner access through tools like Meta Business Suite, we plan, publish and reply on your behalf from a calendar you approve each month. You stay the owner of every account, and you can remove our access at any time.
AI Technology builds
How is an AI build different from your monthly services?
An AI build is a one-time project: we scope it, build it, hand it over and our fee ends. Monthly services, like SEO and AI search optimization, need ongoing work because rankings and AI answers keep changing. You can use both, and each is quoted on its own. See AI Technology →
What if our AI tool needs changes later?
You own the code, so any developer can update it. If you'd like us to make the changes, we quote each one before starting, or you can add an optional care plan that covers small updates and monitoring. The care plan can be cancelled whenever you like.
Is our customer data shared with AI companies?
Your tool runs on AI accounts set up in your own name, under business terms you can read and keep. We design each tool to send only the information a task needs, and we can mask personal details before they reach the AI model. Your data stays in systems you control.
Reporting and results
Which numbers should we watch first?
Start with leads, orders or booked calls from organic search, since those pay the bills. Next, watch clicks from Search Console and rankings for your money keywords. Mentions in AI answers come third, because they're still young as a channel and shift often from month to month.
How do you track leads that come from search?
We set up key events in Google Analytics 4 for forms, calls, bookings and purchases, then link them to your CRM or store so each lead carries its source. That way your report shows which pages brought in the customer, along with the visit itself.
What happens if results slow down?
We tell you early and show you why, using the same data you can see. Then we change course: new content, different keywords, stronger links or technical fixes, whatever the numbers point to. The adjusted plan comes to you for approval before we put it in motion.
Working together
How do we stay in touch?
Email is our main channel, with a monthly video call to review the report and agree next steps. Urgent issues, like a site going down or a sudden traffic drop, get a same-day reply during business hours. Between calls, you can email questions to your account lead whenever they come up.
Which time zones do you cover?
We work with clients across the Americas, Europe, the Gulf, India and Australia, and book calls at a time that suits both you and our team. Written updates arrive by email, so nothing waits on a live meeting, and shared documents let you comment on drafts in your own time.
Who owns the work if we stop working together?
You do. Content we wrote, pages we built, dashboards, accounts and AI tools all belong to you once the related invoices are paid. When a plan ends, we hand back access, export your reports and remove our logins from your systems.
How do we end a plan?
Send a written notice to info@uppearnow.com. Your plan ends after the notice period in your scope (usually 30 days), and work already scheduled for that period is completed and delivered. Your last monthly report arrives as usual, so you keep a full record of everything we delivered.
How do you keep our logins and data safe?
We ask for user-level access in your own tools, so you never share passwords. Our team uses two-factor sign-in and a password manager, works only in the accounts your plan needs, and removes access when the work ends. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data in detail.
